Led by first cousins, The Iowans blend their close knit harmonies with original authentic songs evoking folk, indie, classical old time, and jazz elements resulting in a musical journey from the Driftless that's been described as 'soul searching, spirit lifting'. The Iowans band features cousins Christina Dollhausen and Katie Getz, Matt Grewer on bass and John Madura on violin. Christina and Katie have been creating and inspiring each other since childhood. They continue now as they sing, and share their musical talents on both guitar, banjo, and piano. Band members Matt and John are talented musicians in their own right with John being a professional violinist. The concert is open to all and the venue is accessible with an elevator located on the lower level.
