Karl Jahnke and Acquaintances
Karl Jahnke and Acquaintances
317 Art Collaborative are thrilled to debut the first of their Visiting Artist Series with “Karl Jahnke and Acquaintances”.
Karl Jahnke is a Chicago area Artist who paints, sculpts and raises ungrateful chickens. He is well known in our area for being a staple at Bennies Cleaners during the Rockford Area Arts Councils’ Spring & Fall Art Scenes. His excellent technical skills and signature style blends realism and the surreal in a wonderfully chaotic cocktail!
For this show, Karl invited fellow artists Ryan Klopfenstein, Javi Azuna and Kathryn Eli, none of which have previously shown in Rockford, to bring their distinct styles and subject matter to this compelling and visually pleasing exhibit which will appeal to a wide audience of all ages.
Admission is Free. Show runs through August.
