“Take a Walk in Our Gardens” is the theme of this year’s garden walk presented by the Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners on July 16, 2022 from 10am to 3pm. Explore six beautiful diverse gardens and a wildflower sanctuary and meet the gardeners who designed, created and maintain them. Gardens focus on native and heritage plants, ecosystem gardening techniques, year-round gardening interest and unique hardscape ideas for the home garden.

$15 advance tickets; $20 on July 16th. Children under 12 are free; no strollers allowed in gardens. Some gardens are not handicapped accessible.

Tickets may be purchased in advance through the Batavia Park District Office in Batavia, IL; the Mobil Station in Batavia on Hwy 31; Shady Hill Nursery in Elburn; Heinz Brother’s Nursery in St. Charles; and The Growing Place Nursery in Aurora and Naperville. Tickets are also available online through Eventbright and will be ready for pick up at the “Will Call” table July 16 at 700 W. Fabyan Parkway in Batavia, IL from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
