In the Ferguson Gallery, the Momentum Art Guild displays their recent work in Luminous, named after the 19th Century American movement among landscape painters, which emphasized observing and painting the effects of light. The defining characteristic of the movement was the recreation of light reflected from water surfaces and the atmosphere. Using this movement as a departure point, the Momentum Art Guild members expand on this concept by allowing their creativity to explore a broader definition. Artists include Phyllis Bergagna, Ellie Bartels, Donna Burton-Klapp, Diana Garrett, Ellie Guthrie, Roger Goodspeed, Jane Goodspeed, Ann Haag, Fay Hughes, Ed Maglietta, Larry McCoy, Nanette Mosher, Ethel Schroer, Fran Shriver, Kathy Wilken. The museum's hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 5 pm and Saturday 12 pm - 5 pm.
