Chamber Music on the Fox season opens with the Avalon String Quartet
Chamber Music on the Fox kicks off its 10th season with concerts by the internationally renowned Avalon String Quartet! Avalon will perform Borodin’s stunningly lyrical String Quartet No. 2, which is best known for its shamelessly romantic Nocturne. Also on the program is Shostakovich’s String Quartet no. 9 in E flat major, a deeply personal work that is filled with vibrant energy.
