The Unitarian Universalist Church, Rockford is sponsoring $AVVY, a free documentary film and resource fair event, on Saturday, May 6, 3-5pm at the Nordlof Center.

$AVVY explores why it is critical for women to understand and take control of their personal finances.

$AVVY investigates the historical, cultural, and societal norms around women and money. With incisive humor and captivating honesty, $AVVY questions why women often take a back seat to managing their money and reveals why it is increasingly critical for women take the reins of their financial futures.
