Animals Around the World

Animals Around the World

Do you like animals? Come see a few of the animals that live on 6 of our 7 continents during the “Animals Around the World” show! You might see bats, a tarantula, a skunk, a sugar glider, a sloth, snakes, hedgehogs, geckos, a parrot, or a possum. Sharon Peterson, of Incredible Bats, will share her knowledge about these amazing animals, and after the event children may have the opportunity to touch a couple of animals.

The 1:30 p.m. show is a repeat of the 11:30 a.m. show. Please only attend one session to make room for others!

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the DeKalb Public Library. It is free and intended for school-aged children. No registration is required.

For more information, please contact Theresa at theresaw@dkpl.org or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
