Prosecutions In Northern Illinois Bring In $78 Million

Federal prosecutors in northern Illinois say they collected more than $78 million dollars through prosecutions last year.

Meanwhile, the new top federal prosecutor in Chicago says his office may be forced to scale back prosecutions. U.S. Attorney Zachary Fardon says that's due to congressional budget restraints.

He says he has 19 open positions but can't fill them because of a hiring freeze.
