Putnam County Public Library District to Host Keepsake Creations: Sand Art Workshop

The Putnam County Public Library District will host Keepsake Creations: Sand Art Workshop, an educational and hands-on program, on Tuesday, June 10th at 4:00 p.m. at the Granville Branch, located at 214 S. McCoy Street, Granville.

This interactive workshop will introduce participants to the life and work of Andrew Clemens, a renowned 19th-century Iowan artist celebrated for his intricate and innovative sand art designs. Following a brief presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to create their own colorful sand art keepsake jars.

The event is free and open to the public and is suitable for all ages; younger children may require adult assistance. All materials will be provided, and no prior artistic experience is necessary.
