Putnam County Public Library District Presents Movie Matinee: Building the Eiffel Tower

The Putnam County Public Library District invites the public to a Movie Matinee screening of Building the Eiffel Tower on Tuesday, June 24th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Granville Branch, located at 214 S. McCoy Street, Granville.
Travel back to 19th-century Paris and discover the daring engineering feat behind one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. This 53-minute documentary explores the bold vision and innovative construction of the Eiffel Tower, built in just over two years for the 1889 World’s Fair. Audiences will witness the triumphs and trials of the project that broke records and defined an era of modern architecture. Rated PG, Building the Eiffel Tower offers a compelling look at the genius of Gustave Eiffel and the remarkable team that brought his towering dream to life.
