Join the Friends of the DeKalb Public Library for a gala social event! Gather with members, book sale volunteers, and those interested in learning more about the group for a fun evening of talk, snacks, and music.

Founded in 2005, the Friends of the DeKalb Public Library raise money for library programs, materials, and books. The group’s twice-yearly used book sales have become a popular DeKalb tradition, with thousands of books, DVD’s, CD’s, LP’s, and jigsaw puzzles available at great prices.

Sale dates in 2023 are April 21-23 and October 20-22.

This event is open to all. No registration is required.
