Mastering iPhone Photography is a unique 6 hour 2-part presentation covering art, expression, the essential aspects of digital photography fundamentals as well as a short overview of available equipment and software. Since there are many differences in camera operating systems and available software apps, this workshop will concentrate on our use of iPhones for photography, while providing lists of available resources and apps for Android users; the discussion of digital photography fundamentals is applicable to all cameras.

Part 2 of the presentation will take the participant on a journey of how to select unusual images and avoid common stereotypes via real examples covering landscapes, cityscapes, street scenes, wildlife and florals, spanning the use of internal and add-on lenses and filters. The emphasis will be on how to express an artist’s vision through composition and principles discussed in Part 1.
