The Harlem High School journalism and media students, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford (LWVGR), a nonpartisan organization, are organizing a Candidate Townhall for Harlem School Board and Rock Valley Trustee candidates.

This event provides a valuable opportunity for voters to meet the candidates and learn more about their candidacy. The format will be structured as follows:
• Candidate Introductions: Each candidate will have 3 minutes to introduce themselves to the audience.
• Q&A Session (Harlem School Board Candidates Only)
• Rock Valley College Trustee Candidates: While RVC Trustee candidates will not participate in the Q&A, they are encouraged to attend, introduce themselves, and engage with voters during the post-event social session.

Following the Q&A, all candidates will have the opportunity to speak with voters informally during a short social session with refreshments.
