MPAC presents -- The Avalon String Quartet: American Voices
On his visit to Iowa in 1893, Czech composer Antonin Dvorak said that in the African American melodies “I discover all that is needed for a great and noble school of music.” Two separate programs, American Voices, will explore music in the Americas since that time.
