The 2022 Mosaic World Film Festival (MWFF) has scheduled its lineup of 78 films for its 15th annual event to be held at the RPL Nordlof Center in Rockford, Illinois from September 16th – 18th.

This year’s selections were curated from hundreds of submissions and 57 countries around the world, including this year’s MWFF Spotlight Feature Award winner “The Justice of Bunny King” directed by Gaysorn Thavat and starring Essie Davis and Thomasin McKenzie. There will be 2 receptions in addition to the film screenings. The 1st will be on Friday night,
September 16th at 6pm as the fest will hold the Opening Night Event, with complimentary
appetizers and drinks. There will even be a cake to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the event!

The 2nd reception is the annual Filmmakers Reception to be held on Saturday night, September
17th at 6pm. This event will also have complimentary appetizers and drinks, and many of the
regional filmmakers will be in attendance. At that night’s regional filmmaker screening we will
have Q and A sessions with the filmmakers in attendance.

Tickets are available for pre-sale online on the festival’s Attend page. A full fest, 3 day pass is
only $10. One-day tickets are available as well at $5 per day. Screenings not sold out in advance
will have tickets for sale at the box office beginning on Sept. 16th. A weekend pass is just $10
and a one day ticket is $5. We accept credit or cash.
High School and College students with a valid school ID can receive a daily pass for free if seats
are available. You will need to check in-person with the box office the day you plan on
attending.

The Rockford Public Library is a founding sponsor of the MWFF and this will mark the fest’s 9th
year at the RPL Nordlof Center venue. Other event sponsors for 2022 include The Caledonia
Night Sky Co., Octane, Prographics, and the Rockford Roasting Company.
