Tickets are on sale now for Woodlawn Arts Academy and Dixon Public Schools’ production of Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka Jr.” The musical theatre production is set for January 11th and 12th at Dixon High School Auditorium.
The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film in addition to a host of fun new songs, “Willy Wonka Jr.” is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.
This is the fourth yearand Dixon schools’ have collaborated on a winter production. The show stars Madison School and Reagan Middle School fourth- through eighth-graders. “Willy Wonka Jr.” will be directed by Faith Morrison, with music direction by Mardi Huffstutler.
Shows are scheduled for 7pm Friday, January 11th, and 2pm and 7pm Saturday, January 12th at Dixon High School Auditorium. Tickets are $6 each and available for sale (cash or check only) at Reagan Middle School during school office hours or at Woodlawn Arts Academy.
