DeKalb Township & Sycamore Township will be hosting a Shred & Recycle Event to benefit the residents of Sycamore and DeKalb Townships. Residents are invited to bring up to 2 banker's boxes (or brown paper bags) of papers to be shredded. The following items will also be collected for the Lions of Illinois Foundation and/or Cell Phones for Soldiers: Used Eyeglasses, Used Hearing Aids, Key & Key Fobs, Ink Jet Cartridges, Tabs from Aluminum Cans, Cellphones, Chargers, Tablets & iPads, Prepaid Calling Cards, Used Sneakers. Shoe Sensation & Lions of Illinois will be on-site to aid in the collection of and recycling of these items.
