DeKalb, IL – On May 10th, the DeKalb County Board will make a decision that will have a long-lasting effect on area residents: whether to allow the company Waste Management to expand its landfill and begin hauling in trash from 16 other counties. In exchange for the growth in the garbage business, the county would get some long-sought money to expand its courthouse. There's loud opposition to the plan, and they're making one last push to get their county board members to say "no." WNIJ's Susan Stephens reports.
