Tom Warren

Rockford native Tom Warren is a Professor Emeritus in the Education and Youth Studies department at Beloit College. 

Since retiring, he has written several books. The first of two non-fiction works is entitled An Old Caddie Looks Back: Reflections from a Town that Loves Golf . . . and Tiger about golfing in Rockford. The next is Discovering Lake Superior, about the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

He turned to novels with Discovering Beloit: Stories Too Good to be True? Another novel, The Learner: Confronting God, Golf, & Beyond is just completed and in the hands of the publisher. He has begun a project that will consist of several short stories. Its working title is Cleaning the Basement. You can learn more about Tom via his website.

Tom lives with “Mim,” his wife of more than half a century, in Beloit. They have a daughter and son-in-law and two grandsons.
