The case against five men accused in the hazing death of NIU freshman David Bogenberger was continued until Dec. 3.

Prosecutors in DeKalb County said the men could potentially enter into a plea agreement. According to the Daily Chronicle, no deal has been set.

David Bogenberger died at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house in November 2012 with a blood-alcohol content of 0.351 percent. He was a fraternity pledge at an unsanctioned party where members and other guests ordered the pledges to play drinking games, authorities said.

The chapter at NIU has since lost its campus residency. The five defendants were charged with felony hazing, which is punishable with probation or up to three years in prison.
