So many Democrats are running for president, the first debate of the 2020 election season stretches over two nights. The Democratic National Committee and NBC News split it into two 10-person debates, from 8 to 10 p.m. CT on Wednesday and Thursday, airing on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo.
Here's tonight's lineup: former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Sen. Kamala Harris of California, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Sen. Michael Bennett of Colorado, South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Colorado governor John Hickenlooper, U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, author/activist Marianne Williamson, and attorney/entrepreneur Andrew Yang.
