Katie Andraski retired from teaching composition at Northern Illinois University.
Her novel, The River Caught Sunlight, was published last year. Her collection of poetry, When the Plow Cuts, was published in 1988. She blogs about farming and spirituality at katieandraski.com
She has an MFA from the University of Arkansas.
Katie and her husband Bruce live on a farm, run by a formerly feral cat, Onyx.
