In the spring of 1938, everything is chaos at radio station WBFR. Half the staff is out sick, the studio musicians are picketing out front, and the leading lady has been murdered. Wait… maybe not. There is some confusion regarding that. For one thing, the body has disappeared. Meanwhile, the shorthanded staff soldiers on, broadcasting soap operas, adventure serials, and quiz shows, all while trying to solve a mystery.
