Event Description

Orphaned at 10 years old, Patrick Dennis moves from a conservative upbringing in Chicago to the “Roaring 20s” New York lifestyle of his Auntie Mame. Living by the motto that “Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death”, Mame strives to open doors her nephew had never imagined. This process is helped by a madcap collection of friends, romantic attachments and household staff but hindered by the great depression and an oppressive bank trustee in charge of Patrick’s inheritance. As Patrick enters adulthood and plans a future of his own, whose influence will win out?
