WNIJ's Gas Price Monday: August 14, 2017

The average Illinois price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $2.40. This is three cents cheaper than last week's average. 

AAA reports the most expensive gas is in the City of Chicago, at $2.72 per gallon. By contrast, the cheapest gasoline is available in Danville, at $2.16 per gallon. Rockford's average per-gallon price is $2.31, which is one cent cheaper than last week.
