Come see the new space! Join Northern Public Radio and the Rockford Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate the opening of our new combined space at the Riverfront Museum Park with an open house and Rockford Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. The doors will open at 3 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be at 3:30 p.m. followed by tours and refreshments.
Located at 711 N. Main St. in Rockford, this space is the primary home of both Rockford Symphony Orchestra and Northern Illinois Radio Information Service (NIRIS), the Northern Public Radio broadcast service that provides current print information to blind and print-impaired citizens of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
