Former NIU student reflects, one year later

Illinois expert explains impeachment proceedings

DeKalb, IL – Governor Rod Blagojevich's indictment raises a number of important questions for Illinois - such as "Will the Governor be impeached," and "What would impeachment proceedings look like?" For answers, WNIJ's Dan Klefstad turned to Robert Rich - director of the University of Illinois' Institute of Government and Public Affairs. Rich is an expert on the Illinois constitution. Dan began by asking him "What, if anything, does the Constitution say about a sitting Governor who's been indicted?"
